Asteroids Disaster Scenario – Science Week Launch Video 2009

This is my video for launching our Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths (STEM) week at Honywood Community Science School. There’ll be plenty of activities to go with this theme, including pupils voting for who should be saved. Who would you save if you had to go and colonise another planet? I take no credit for any of the video clips I have used; I just cobbled them together from other sources including Horizon (BBC) and the excellent Discovery Channel asteroid impact video. I totally pinched their idea for using “Great Gig in the Sky” by Pink Floyd.
